Since the 1930s, Agnesia Antibacterial Powder has been a part of Malaysian households, helping countless to soothe and calm prickly heat in our humid weather. The recognisable ‘red tin’ as it is fondly known across generations is now popular beyond our shores. It can easily be spotted on shelves in Singapore, Maldives and Nigeria.

OBJECTIVE:

While the brand enjoys a significant following within the Malay community, it is often seen as more nostalgic than a modern household staple. With the Raya celebration approaching, Agnesia aimed to reestablish itself as the go-to antibacterial powder brand.

OUR APPROACH:

We launched a nostalgic Raya campaign, leveraging the season to reinforce Agnesia’s core values of caring and togetherness. Our campaign theme, “Always Loving,” was designed to evoke nostalgia by contrasting past and present Raya celebrations.

Creating a compelling video for Agnesia during the highly competitive Raya season was challenging. Drawing from this insight and inspired by Agnesia’s iconic ‘red tin,’ we crafted a video that blended modernity with tradition while remaining true to Agnesia’s brand tone.

The video, titled “Raya Bersama Agnesia,” explored an intergenerational family relationship. The main character, Farah, is a busy mum near Raya season who expresses her frustration towards her son while reminiscing about the joyful Raya celebrations of her childhood. Filled with wholesomeness and nostalgia, the video featured a surprising twist to keep the audience engaged until the end.

By tapping into the deep emotional connections Malaysians have with Raya celebrations and blending it with the timeless appeal of Agnesia, we aimed to reignite the brand’s presence in modern households while celebrating its cherished heritage.

THE CLIENT: 

NTPM, a household name in Malaysia for paper goods, encompasses brands like Royal Gold, Premier, Diapex, and Intimate. 

OBJECTIVE:

Drive engagement, boosting sales and brand awareness through strategic and tactical efforts.

OUR APPROACH:

Recognising the diverse product range under NTPM, we proposed the ‘Family Hygiene Day’ campaign, targeting Malaysian families of all ages. This campaign was designed to resonate deeply with family values and hygiene, forming the core of our communication strategy.

To achieve widespread engagement, we developed all communication materials rooted in the family context, which were then utilised across digital platforms and print media. This ensured that our message reached a broad audience, highlighting the importance of family hygiene.

We launched a nationwide sales campaign aimed at enhancing sales performance and brand awareness. Social media posts played a crucial role in extending our geographical reach, connecting with families across Malaysia.

To further boost sales and engagement, we followed up the on-ground campaign with a ‘Spend & Win’ contest. This initiative encouraged families to participate actively, rewarding them for their loyalty and promoting our wide range of hygiene products.

Through the ‘Family Hygiene Day’ campaign, NTPM successfully brought families together, emphasising the importance of hygiene while driving sales and strengthening brand loyalty.

LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, is a Japanese lifestyle shopping centre in the heart of KL.

We were tasked to create a campaign that would not only boost footfall and in-mall conversions but also leave a lasting impression on visitors, making their experience both memorable and rewarding.

We envisioned a vibrant “spend and win” contest that seamlessly combined digital and on-ground experiences. The campaign was designed to captivate and engage, blending the elegance of Japanese culture with the joy of celebration.

Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), is a leader in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic care. Renowned locally and regionally, IJN has come to represent innovation and quality in cardiac treatment. Its standing as a leader in the industry has been cemented by its commitment to remaining at the forefront of medical developments.

OBJECTIVE:

Our goal was to elevate brand awareness among Malaysians and encourage them to take proactive steps towards their health by driving conversions for our health screening package.

OUR APPROACH:

We launched the “Run Right” campaign, a unique running workshop designed to educate participants on heart health and overall wellness. The campaign was more than just a workshop; it was an immersive experience that combined practical exercise with essential health education.

The campaign generated substantial buzz, with the IJN truck becoming a focal point of attention. Its presence in various locations not only drew crowds but also sparked conversations about heart health and the importance of regular screenings. This visibility translated into increased interest in IJN’s health screening packages, as more Malaysians recognized the value of staying proactive about their health.

THE CLIENT: 

Universal Studios Singapore is Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park. The park is packed with adrenaline-pumping rides, interactive shows and a wide variety of exciting attractions based on the blockbuster movies and television series we know and love so well. 

OBJECTIVE:

As Resorts World Sentosa unveiled the 10th edition of Halloween Horror Nights, our mission was to generate buzz and drive ticket sales among the young, thrill-seeking crowd.

OUR APPROACH:

To captivate our target audience and build anticipation, we launched an experiential guerrilla marketing campaign* centred around the “Horror Door” installations. These eerie portals appeared across popular shopping malls in Johor Bahru, strategically placed near colleges to capture the attention of students and young adults.

To amplify our reach, we crafted custom PR kits tailored for influencers and media personalities. These kits were packed with spooky goodies and exclusive previews, enticing them to share their experiences and build excitement among their followers. The influencers’ posts and media coverage created a ripple effect, spreading the word far and wide about the upcoming horrors awaiting at Universal Studios Singapore.

We successfully generated significant hype and anticipation, drawing young audiences closer to the thrills and chills of Halloween Horror Nights.

THE CLIENT: 

King Cup is a Johor-based producer of high quality canned fish products. With a yearly import quantity of 4,500 metric tons, the raw materials are directly imported from Mexico and South Africa for both sardines and mackerels.

OBJECTIVE:

In conjunction with Hari Raya, King Cup set out to celebrate the festival with its loyal consumers while driving sales conversion. We aimed to create a memorable campaign that would resonate with our audience and elevate their festive spirits.

OUR APPROACH:

Our approach was twofold: combining sales and engagement through a month-long spend-and-win contest. The video featured hidden King Cup products, encouraging viewers to participate by spotting them. This interactive element not only increased viewer engagement but also drove sales as participants purchased King Cup products to join the contest.

Through this innovative campaign, we successfully celebrated Hari Raya with our loyal consumers, fostering a sense of community and joy while boosting sales conversion.

To achieve this, we disrupted the norms with our “It’s Time for Raya, AGAIN?!” campaign. This playful campaign humorously mocked traditional celebrations in a video that highlighted cherished moments shared during the festive season. By blending humour and nostalgia, we created a relatable and engaging narrative that captured the essence of Raya.
