These can include options such as “imagine me surfing” or “imagine me on a roller coaster”, but the options are endless.</p>

<h5><b>YouTube adds a host of new features</b></h5>
<p>YouTube has added <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/youtube-adds-option-save-music-shorts-channel-management-guide/722219/">a “Save Music” feature</a></strong></span> that will allow users to save audios to their chosen sounds folder within the app. The sounds can then be easily found again or reused on the user’s own videos. YouTube has also expanded its Inspiration tab to now provide AI-generated content tips and ideas. Creators can enter a topic into the search bar and YouTube will generate ideas based on what channel viewers are likely to want to see.</p>

The feature, currently only available to paid X members, appears when users hover their cursor over a handle or display name on the web. Once clicked, the feature will then generate an AI-generated synopsis of the user.</p>

While it may have made remarkable strides in language processing, AI copywriting lacks the human touch that makes a piece of copywriting or an advertisement reach people’s minds and hearts. In 2017, the brand installed billboards with a text from the point of view of a mother saying, </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Nak, mak teringin sangat nak pakai telekung Siti Khadijah.” </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">loosely translated to, “My child, your mother has been dreaming of wearing Siti Khadijah prayer wear.” The public response to the ad is exactly what the brand wanted, filial guilt. Indeed, there is no artificial intelligence of any kind that could come up with a copy as authentic. Nothing ‘hits home’ more than a guilt-tripping parent and a copywriter who exploits that universal experience as a marketing strategy. </span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;">Creativity and Original Thought</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of the biggest limitations of current AI language models is that it does not actually understand content in the way that humans do. AI processes patterns in data to generate fluent and coherent text. However, crafting original creative concepts and unique ideas is extremely difficult for AI. While it can ideate to some degree based on the data that it has been trained on, the human mind is second to none when it comes to out-of-the-box thinking, the bread and butter of great copywriting. </span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;">Human Connection and Cultural Nuance </span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Copy and content creation requires a keen understanding of the target audience. People’s desires, communication styles, cultural context, and more. These are areas where AI still struggles. The AI system does not have the same life experiences and emotional intelligence as humans. Copywriters who can tap into the mindsets and motivations of specific demographics will always be needed to craft marketing copy that resonates with the audiences. </span></p>

When tasked with it, AI models could only give us generic ideas that would target a mass audience instead of a niche audience. In the end, what worked was a few minds sitting down together and coming up with unique, original ideas unmarred by AI.</span></p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: 400;">Branding and Brand Voice</span></h4>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of the key roles of copywriters is shaping and reinforcing a brand&#8217;s authentic, distinct voice and personality. The company said it is working on a dedicated space for images and text content. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Advertisers can now entice potential buyers with promo codes listed in the caption, which can then be applied in the checkout process. This will help to drive sales from your IG promotions, while also providing you with another way to track your IG sales directly. </span></p>

<h5><b>YouTube Launches New AI Disclosure Requirements For Uploads</b></h5>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">YouTube is expanding its disclosures around AI-generated content with a new element within Creator Studio where creators will have to disclose when they upload </span><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/youtube-launches-new-ai-disclosure-requirements-for-uploads/710622/">AI-assisted content</a></strong></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> that’s been made with AI tools. </span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Creators will be required to check a box when the content that is being uploaded “is altered or synthetic and seems real”. This is to avoid deepfakes and misinformation via manipulated or simulated depictions. And if you don’t add it, YouTube will help to add one if it detects the use of synthetic and/or manipulated media in the content you posted.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Reddit announced a new ad format which is called, “</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><a href="https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/reddit-launches-free-replicate-the-look-organic-posts/710361/">free form ads</a></strong></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">”, which are designed to look like organic Reddit posts, but brand names are in place of the username with the ‘Promoted’ tag.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You may know this as “Native Advertising”, in which advertisements appear the same as the media format of the app. They’re essentially designed to be more organic looking as they’ll feel native to the platform and the formats in which users engage with. Reddit says that it has been proven effective in testing, with “Native Advertising” outperforming all other ad types in average CTR by 28% while driving increased community engagement.</span></p>
